Tumblin' Dice 13 Year Old is a barrel proof straight rye whiskey in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in Indiana, matured in new charred oak barrels and bottled by Proof & Wood Ventures in Lancaster, Kentucky.
The mash bill is 95% rye and 5% barley. It is bottled at 54.82% ABV (109.64 proof), uncut and unfiltered.
The nose is toasted oak, cracked pepper, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with peppery rye spice, dark caramel, vanilla bean, baking spice, mature oak and hints of dark cherry. The finish is long and warm, with oak, black pepper, cinnamon and caramel sweetness.
