Turkey Tom American Bourbon is a 40% ABV bourbon in a 75cl hand-painted decanter shaped like a turkey, released seasonally. The whiskey comes from MGP in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and has been aged for a minimum of two years in oak.
Warm caramel and vanilla open the nose, with toasted oak, butterscotch and brown sugar. The palate is soft, with sweet corn and honey, then toffee, caramel, oak spice, cinnamon, nutmeg and light cherry. The finish is medium, with vanilla and toasted wood and a gentle baking-spice warmth.
