Turley Zinfandel Kirschenmann Vineyard 2023 (75cl)

A 2023 Zinfandel from Turley, made from the Kirschenmann Vineyard in California and bottled in a 75cl bottle. The vineyard is owned and farmed by Turley's winemaker, Tegan Passalacqua. The ungrafted vines were planted in 1915 in silica-rich sandy soils on the east side of the Mokelumne River AVA. Cool river waters and delta breezes shield the head-trained, dry-farmed vines from the heat. In the old-vine tradition, the vineyard is a field blend that also holds small amounts of Mondeuse, Cinsault and Carignane.
