Turntable Collaboration Drop 02 is a small-batch blend from Turntable, a young blending house started by two brothers. It is a 2024 limited edition, in a 70cl bottle at 52% ABV, combining Irish and Scottish whisky.
The blend is 41% Dingle single pot still from Oloroso hogsheads, 16% Balmenach from first-fill Pedro Ximénez puncheons, 12% Blair Athol from first-fill rye barrels and 18% Loch Lomond grain from first-fill bourbon barrels.
The nose offers sweet pipe tobacco, grapefruit, red berries and pickled plums. The palate is spicy, with ginger, dark chocolate, orange and English liquorice. The finish is creamy and spicy.
