Smokin' Riff is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable, the label of brothers Gordon and Ally Stevenson. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
Peat smoke runs through it from the first sip, and it is named after a guitar riff.
The nose has peat smoke, pickled fruit, spices and a touch of dark chocolate. The palate brings elegant peat smoke, pickled pear, ginger and a faint hint of white pepper. In the finish peat and barbecue smoke combine with cinnamon and pickled fruit.
