Unplugged is a blended Scotch whisky from Turntable, a Glasgow blending house that links whisky with music. More than 80 per cent of the blend is malt, mostly Speyside distillates from Linkwood, Ballindalloch and Benrinnes matured in first- and second-fill bourbon casks, with a little peated Ledaig from Mull. Grain whisky from sherry casks completes it.
It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colour or chill-filtration, and received 92 points at the International Wine and Spirit Competition.
The character is orchard fruit and vanilla, with delicate floral tones and faint peat smoke.
