J. Riddle Peated Bourbon from Two James Spirits sets the sweetness of a corn bourbon beside the smokiness of single malt whiskey. It began as an experimental mix of grains and was distilled on site from 79% Michigan corn and 21% Scottish barley.
The spirit was aged in full-size 53-gallon new American oak barrels. The mash bill shows subtle notes of vanilla, buttered popcorn, sea salt, fresh cut grass and light smoke.
