Two James J. Riddle Peated Bourbon is a bourbon from Two James Spirits in Corktown, Detroit, Michigan, bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is named after James Riddle Hoffa.
The mash bill is 79% Michigan corn and 21% peated barley from the UK. The whiskies in the blend are aged for between three and five years in new American oak.
On the nose the producer notes roasted nuts, lemon, charcoal and iodine. The palate brings sweet vanilla, grilled meats, dried poblano and cocoa, and the finish runs to roasted peanuts, leather, cherry pipe tobacco, kelp and iodine.
