Two Stacks – Blackberry Brandy Finish

This is an Irish whiskey from Two Stacks, part of its Fruit Drops series. It combines single grain, pot still, double malt and lightly peated malt whiskeys, first matured in virgin oak, bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The whiskey then receives its finish in blackberry brandy casks. The nose offers intense dark berries with vanilla, oak and gentle spice. The palate is soft and full-bodied, with blackberry, forest fruit jam and honey. The finish carries dark berries and fine oak.
