Tyrconnell Single Malt Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Tyrconnell is an Irish single malt, distilled twice from malted barley only and bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. The name comes from a racehorse that won the Queen Victoria Cup in 1876; in Gaelic, Tyrconnell means land of the O'Donnells. It matures in ex-bourbon casks, which bring fruit and malt together with honey and oak. The colour is a bright gold. The nose is fresh, with malt, citrus and vanilla. The palate is very soft and mild, with sweet honey, juicy orange and malt. The finish is medium in length, mild and dry.
