Umiki is a Japanese whisky that combines malt whiskies distilled by the ocean with imported grain whiskies. The blend is finished in Japanese pine barrels, and desalinated ocean water is used when it is blended, which is where the ocean-fused description comes from. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The nose is light and sweet with a sea-breeze note. The palate is rounded and floral, and the finish is fresh and soothing.
