Umiki Ocean Fused is a Japanese whisky in a 50cl bottle. Umiki means ocean water in Japanese, and the name fits the way the whisky is made: it is diluted with desalinated sea water, which gives it a slightly briny character. It was matured in casks that previously held wine. The nose offers sea breeze and light fruit. On the palate there are touches of spice and vanilla, with a hint of seaweed.
