This is a 10 year old single malt Scotch from the Braeval distillery, released under the name 'Higher Ground' by the independent bottler Uncharted Whisky Company.
Uncharted is based in Fintry, Scotland, and run by Jack Breslin and Dana de Vos. Both came from the drinks industry and wanted to bottle whisky under a brand of their own. Its releases are named after famous musicians, songs and albums, and this bottling follows that habit.
