Uncharted Private Cask Loch Lomond Inchmurrin 24 Year Old (70cl, 45%)

A 24 year old Inchmurrin from Loch Lomond in the Highlands, bottled by Uncharted Whisky Company as a Private Cask release at a cask strength of 45% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in February 1997 and bottled in September 2022. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. The whisky spent its whole maturation in a single ex-bourbon cask, which gave 76 bottles. Inchmurrin is completely un-peated and is described as one of the lightest, most fragrant spirits made at Loch Lomond. The notes run to an old fashioned dunnage warehouse earthiness, vanilla, tart tropical fruits and crisp ripe red apples, followed by a wave of sweetness, with honey and oak.
