Uncle Nearest Green is a Tennessee straight bourbon made in Tennessee, USA, and bottled at 42% ABV. It is named in tribute to Nearest Green, a pioneering figure in Tennessee whiskey history.
It is filtered through Tennessee charcoal and matured in new American oak barrels, which give a deep amber colour. The nose offers caramel, toasted oak and vanilla with baking spice and roasted nuts. Brown sugar, sweet corn and subtle spice follow on the palate, ending long with a touch of smoky oak.
