This is a straight rye whiskey from Tennessee, bottled at 50% in a 750ml bottle. It is made by Uncle Nearest and built on a rye-led mashbill.
The nose brings caramelised sugar, warm spices and a little oak. On the palate the spiciness of the rye is set against sweet vanilla and toffee, and the finish is smooth with some complexity.
It can be taken neat or used in a classic cocktail.
