United States Navy Anniversary Etched Bourbon Bottle Limited Edition

This is a commemorative bottle of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey made for the United States Navy anniversary. The glass is deep-etched and hand-painted rather than labelled, and it is made in the USA. The design shows the Navy's ship wheel emblem, its motto Non Sibi Sed Patriae ("Not for self, but for country") and the founding date, 13 October 1775. The bourbon opens with warm vanilla, dried fruit and a touch of mint. On the palate there is rich caramel, toffee, oak and a hint of spice. The finish is long and smooth, with a gentle sweetness.
