A grappa from the Poli distillery in Veneto, distilled from red grapes.
It is clear and bright, with fruity notes of marasca cherry and plum, a light touch of rose, and a spicy undertone of cinnamon and clove. On the palate it is balanced and enveloping, with acidity that cleanses the palate and a long, aromatic finish with berries and sweet spices.
Serve at room temperature or slightly chilled, as a digestif or with aged cheeses and dark chocolate.
