This is a single cask Highland single malt from Royal Brackla, bottled by Valinch & Mallet in a 75cl bottle after 12 years in cask.
It was distilled in 2006 and matured in a bourbon hogshead, cask number 18-1201, before bottling in 2018. The outturn was 352 bottles.
The palate is velvety, with melon and candy surrounded by a gentle smoke, and a slightly herbaceous note of Maldon salt and pink pepper. The finish is long, with cut grass and, above all, wet wood smoke.
