Valpolicella Superiore DOC Ventale is made by Santi. It is a deep ruby red wine with an aromatic bouquet of cherry, berries and sweet spice, with a subtle wood influence.
The palate is elegant and harmonious, with balanced acidity and tannins, medium body, mature red fruit, vanilla and a touch of leather. The finish is persistent.
It pairs well with red meat dishes such as roasts and braises, and with medium-aged cheeses.
