A red wine from the Inferno subzone of Valtellina Superiore, made from Nebbiolo, also called Chiavennasca. The vineyard is noted for steep terraced slopes and a hot microclimate. It has a lively garnet-red colour. The nose shows blackberry, cherry and plum, with violet, spice, tobacco and leather. On the palate it is balanced between structure and elegance, with finely polished tannins and lively acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with spicy and mineral notes.
