Verdicchio di Jesi DOC "Back to Basics" by Santa Barbara is an organic white wine with a clear, essential taste profile. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour, with citrus, green apple and light floral notes on the nose. The palate is savoury and fresh, with balanced acidity, and the finish is clean with good persistence and a hint of almond typical of Verdicchio. It pairs with light fish dishes, shellfish, seafood salads and vegetable-based pasta, and suits aperitifs. Serve around 8-10 °C.
