Vernatsch Schiava Alto Adige DOC Gschleier Alte Reben - Girlan

A red wine from Alto Adige made exclusively from Schiava grapes grown on old vines. The prolonged life cycle of the vines gives aromatic concentration and refined structure. Vinification preserves freshness and minerality, with gentle ageing that highlights soft tannins and fruity character. In the glass it shows a bright cherry red colour, with aromas of fresh red fruits, light floral notes and spicy hints. On the palate it is harmonious and agile, with a persistent and pleasant finish. It pairs well with cured meats, white meats and Tyrolean dishes.
