Very Old Barton is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 40% ABV, or 80 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
It is made by Barton, the producer that also makes the upscale 1792 Bourbon, and it has long been a respected name among those who know Kentucky whiskey.
It is described as rich, creamy and easy to like, and is recommended for making Manhattans.
