Very Olde St. Nick Harvest is a cask strength straight rye whiskey from Kentucky, bottled at 58.95% ABV without chill filtration. It is made from a mash bill high in rye grain and matured in new charred American oak barrels.
The nose leads with black pepper, cinnamon and clove, backed by vanilla bean, burnt caramel and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied, opening with deep caramel and brown sugar before moving to peppery rye spice, allspice and toasted cedar. The finish is long and warming, with lingering spice and oak.
