Veuve Goudoulin Single Malt Whisky

Veuve Goudoulin Single Malt is a French whisky born of a partnership between an Armagnac house in Gascony and the Miclo family, Alsace distillers for three generations, who acquired the house in 2009. It was aged in the house's own casks, which have held old vintages of Bas-Armagnac, under the care of its cellar master and oenologist Aurélien. The nose offers biscuit, fig and almond with a hint of caramel behind. The palate is sweet and carries on the same flavours, and the long finish recalls an Armagnac croustade, a traditional Gascon pastry.
