A Barolo from Vietti, made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Lazzarito vineyard at Serralunga d'Alba. The site is known for calcareous and clay soils that give the wine structure and longevity.
It is aged for at least two years in oak casks, followed by further bottle ageing. The nose shows mature red fruit, spices, tobacco and leather, with earthy and mineral nuances. The palate is rich and structured, with fine, elegant tannins and excellent acidity.
It suits rich meat dishes, game and aged cheeses.
