Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco 2022

Vietti Langhe Nebbiolo Perbacco 2022 is a red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo, mainly from Barolo parcels and to a lesser extent Barbaresco parcels. Vinification is carried out separately for each parcel. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about 3-4 weeks in steel tanks, followed by malolactic fermentation and about two years of ageing in a mix of French barriques and large Slavonian oak casks. Some Barolo parcel wines are selected for Vietti Barolo Castiglione, while the rest are blended with Barbaresco parcel wines before bottling. It has a bright ruby colour, with an open, complex nose of mint, violet, delicate red fruits, English liquorice and pepper. The palate is deep and structured, with rounded tannins in the finish. Serve with veal, lamb, beef or game, and mature soft-rind cheeses.
