Vieux Sajous 5 Year Old is an aged Haitian rhum agricole, bottled by Velier at cask strength, 58.3% vol. Clairin is traditionally left unaged, and this series shows what age can do for it.
It is made from organically grown Cristalline sugar cane from Saint Michel de l'Attalaye. The spirit comes from freshly pressed juice, distilled in 2019 and bottled in 2024.
It matured in the tropics in 21 single malt and rum casks. It is not chill-filtered and has no added colouring or sugar.
