Vino Liquoroso Filippetti (1L)

An Italian liquoroso wine made from carefully selected grapes ripened under the warm sun of southern Italy. It has a deep amber colour with golden to light brown reflections. The nose offers candied fruit and honey, with vanilla and caramel from ageing in wooden barrels. On the palate it balances sweetness and alcoholic warmth, with raisin, dried fig and sweet spice, ending in a persistent, enveloping finish. Serve slightly chilled as a meditation wine or with desserts and blue cheeses.
