Vintage Rye 23 Year Old is an American straight rye whiskey with a 23-year age statement, in a 750ml bottle.
At this age the grain and spice that mark younger rye have largely been absorbed into the oak. What remains leans towards dried fruit, dark chocolate and old leather.
On the nose it offers dark dried fruit, spice, leather and well-developed oak. The palate is silky and complex, with the flavours closely woven together, and the finish is very long and warming.
