A 15 year old Kentucky straight bourbon made at Heaven Hill Distillery, in a 1 litre bottle at 101 proof (50.5% ABV). It matured in American oak and is released under the Meadowlawn Distilling Co. label.
The mash bill is approximately 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley.
The nose brings dark caramel, polished oak, pipe tobacco and dried cherry. The palate is dense and rich, with leather, toasted vanilla, clove, burnt sugar and spiced walnut. The finish is long and dry, with charred wood, cocoa and lingering baking spice.
