This is a limited edition American single malt from Virginia Distillery Co., made in Virginia from 100% malted barley. It comes in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey was aged for over five years in ex-bourbon barrels, then finished in barrels that previously held Gingerbread Stout from Hardywood Park Craft Brewery. It is a collaboration with the brewery, and twenty barrels were selected.
The nose offers candied lemon peel, apricot and bright ginger. The palate brings walnuts, freshly baked gingerbread, vanilla icing and lingering baking spices.
