Courage & Conviction is an American single malt from Virginia Distillery Co, named for a phrase of its late founder, Dr George G. Moore: "Have the courage of your conviction." His family carried on his aim of redefining American whisky.
It is made from 100% malted barley and aged for over six years in sherry casks, bourbon barrels and European red wine STR cuvee casks, in a 750ml bottle.
The nose offers honeyed apricot, orange peel and vanilla custard. The palate brings milk chocolate, red berries, toasted pecan and ginger.
