This is a seven-year-old single malt from Virginia Distillery Co., made in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and bottled at 59.7% in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels and finished in a single port cask.
Nose and palate show dark chocolate, dried fruit, honey and malt extract, with hints of cooked fruit, leather, fresh orchard fruit and subtle herbal tones. Intense nutty sweetness and an earthy depth run through it.
