Vista Alegre Rosé Port

Vista Alegre Rosé Port is a rosé port from Vallegre, a house owned by the Cunha Barros family for four generations. The grapes come from old vines in Baixa Corgo and Cima Corgo, around Quinta Vista Alegre near Pinhão in the Douro valley. It is made from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, and is a young, modern style of port. The aroma is fresh and intense, and the palate has a fruity sweetness with berries and red fruits. It is best served chilled or over ice, or mixed with tonic, a slice of orange and a mint leaf.
