La Bella Estate is a Moscato passito from Piedmont, made by Vite Colte. The grapes are picked by hand, usually in early September, then dried in crates for about 40 days in a humidity-controlled room before pressing.
The must ferments in stainless steel for around 10 days at 18-20°C. The wine then rests on its lees in steel tanks for about 12 months before filtering, stabilising and bottling.
The nose offers dried yellow fruit, candied fruit and tropical fruit such as apricot, mango and pineapple, with grapefruit, saffron, honey and light balsamic hints of field herbs and moss. The palate is rounded and intense, with good freshness and a long, savoury finish.
