Volbeat XXV Rum 25th Anniversary Limited Edition

Volbeat XXV is a blended rum made for the band's 25th anniversary, in a limited edition of 2,300 numbered bottles. It combines four rums: three from Guyana, distilled between 2001 and 2014, and one Jamaican pot still rum from 2015. The Guyanese rums provide the dark base, with molasses, spice and a full body. The Jamaican rum adds fruity, aromatic edge. It was blended in Liverpool at The Main Rum Company by Master Blender Ian Smith, with Michael Poulsen involved in shaping its style. Expect overripe tropical fruit, dark molasses, demerara sugar, warm spices, oak and cocoa. The palate is full and warm, with syrupy sweetness and a long, warm finish.
