W.L. Weller Antique 107 Proof is a wheated bourbon made at Buffalo Trace to a recipe that replaces the usual rye with wheat. It is bottled at 53.5% ABV.
The nose combines ploughed earth, tobacco and leather with honey, maple syrup and pecan pie. On the palate it is soft, with vanilla and apple sweetness held in check by oaky tannins and a little tobacco leaf. The finish is lightly floral and spiced, led by cinnamon.
