W.L. Weller C.Y.P.B. Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 47.5%)

This is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from W.L. Weller, bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The name stands for Craft Your Perfect Bourbon. The recipe came from a poll in which Weller asked whiskey drinkers to choose the recipe, proof, warehouse location and age. Most chose a wheated bourbon, in the manner of William Larue Weller. The result is a limited edition aged for eight years on the highest warehouse floors. Citrus and oak show on the nose. The palate is well rounded and balanced with hints of vanilla, and the finish is medium to long.
