W.L. Weller Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl, 48.5%)

Weller Single Barrel is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 48.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Each bottle comes from a single barrel, and the line was launched in 2020 and is released annually in limited quantities. The mash bill uses wheat in place of rye, an approach pioneered by William Larue Weller. It was bottled in Frankfort, Kentucky. The nose is cherry and mint, fading to vanilla. The palate brings caramel and baking spices with a hint of cocoa, and the finish is cinnamon, coffee and a touch of pepper.
