W.L. Weller Special Reserve is a wheated Kentucky bourbon, made to a softer, sweeter recipe than traditional bourbons. It is bottled at 45% ABV. The nose offers caramel, damson jam and wood polish. The palate brings buttered popcorn, cedar, burnt sugar and light spice, with notes of honey and butterscotch, and the finish is nutty and peppery.
