W.L. Weller Special Reserve is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 45% ABV. It is a wheated bourbon, with wheat used in place of rye grain, and has a burnt orange colour.
The flavour is softer than many bourbons, and it can be sipped or used in cocktails.
The nose is sweet with caramel. The palate offers honey, butterscotch and a soft woodiness, and the finish is smooth with a sweet honeysuckle note.
