This is The Glendronach 8 Year Old, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the late 1970s, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It dates from the period when the distillery was owned by Wm. Teacher & Sons. Glendronach was built in 1826 by James Allardice and rebuilt after a fire in 1852. Charles Grant, youngest son of William Grant, bought it in 1920, and the family sold it to Teacher forty years later. It was mothballed in 1996 and revived in 2002.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
