Wanderback Founder's Reserve is an American single malt made from 100% malted barley, distilled and matured in Hood River, Oregon. It is a single barrel whiskey bottled at cask strength, 60% ABV, and each bottle is hand-numbered.
It is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour, and is a limited edition release.
On the nose it is described as butterscotch, warm oak, charred spice and roasted malt. The palate brings vanilla bean, toasted nuts, spiced caramel, earthy grain and dried fruit, and the finish is long, with oak, leather, baking spice and malty sweetness.
