This is a 10 year old small batch American whiskey made in Kentucky by Wattie Boone & Sons, a name that honours one of America's earliest distillers. It was matured in charred American oak barrels and is bottled at 47.35% ABV.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, with hints of dried fruit and a little spice. On the palate come rich toffee, dark chocolate and warm baking spices, followed by a smooth, lingering finish of oak and soft leather.
