Wayward Small Batch is a rye whiskey made by hand and aged in charred American oak barrels. The maturation takes place in a rickhouse tempered by ocean air, and the mash bill is entirely organic.
The whiskey is deep amber in colour. On the nose it is sweet and spicy with fruit, and the palate is sweet with notes of raisin, leading to a finish where spice lingers.
