Weller Antique 107 is a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 53.5% (107 proof) in a 70cl bottle. Wheat takes the place of rye in the mash bill, which gives a smooth, rich and full-bodied character even at this strength.
Sweet vanilla, dark caramel, cinnamon spice, baked apple and charred oak are the main notes. The finish is warm and lingering, with a little dark chocolate and wood spice.
