Western Reserve 8 Year Old Organic Bourbon (43%)

This is an organic bourbon from Western Reserve Distillers, with an age statement of 8 years. It is bottled at 86 proof (43%). The barrels are hand selected after resting in newly charred American white oak. Although 8 years is the minimum, most of the barrels used are between 10 and 12 years old. The nose offers hints of cedar and dark cherry. On the palate come apricot and fig, with a touch of dark chocolate.
