This is a seven-year-old American single malt from Westland, drawn from a single cask, number 6255, and given a Banyuls finish. It is bottled at a cask strength of 53.5%, with no added colour and no chill-filtration.
The aromas are described as dried red fruit, hibiscus, roasted Arabica coffee, fresh-cut mahogany, sandalwood and sweet red sweets. On the palate come dark fruits such as plums, blackberries and blueberries, with hints of orange and raisins.
